Terms & Conditions

This document is provided for information. For a policy tailored to your circumstances, seek independent legal advice.

About these terms and who we are

These terms apply to work carried out by ArcLine Group, Unit 4, Woodfield, Stone, ST15 8RP. They set out how we quote, deliver and guarantee our groundworks, roofing and building work. By accepting a quotation you accept these terms.

    Quotations

Site assessments are free and without obligation. Quotations are issued in writing, are fixed for the scope described and remain valid for 30 days. Any variation to the agreed scope is priced and agreed in writing before that work proceeds.

    Section 184 and highway works

For dropped kerb and vehicle crossing works the client remains the applicant to the local highway authority. ArcLine prepares and submits the Section 184 application on the client's behalf and manages the process end to end. Council fees and approval decisions rest with the authority and are outside ArcLine's control.

    Accreditations

ArcLine Group is approved under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), our operatives and supervisors are registered on the Streetworks Qualifications Register (SWQR), and we carry comprehensive Public Liability Insurance for all works undertaken.

    Payment terms

Payment terms are stated on your quotation. Where a deposit or staged payments apply these are set out in writing before work begins. Final balances are due on completion unless agreed otherwise. Council application fees are payable in addition where applicable.

    Workmanship guarantee

Our work is backed by a written workmanship guarantee covering defects in our installation. Manufacturer warranties on materials apply in addition where supplied. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, storm or accidental damage, third-party alterations, or defects in pre-existing structures we did not install.

    Cancellation

Where a contract is agreed away from our business premises you have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin work within that period you may be charged for work already carried out. Cancellation requests should be sent to info@arclinegroup.co.uk.

    Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of putting right defective work carried out by us, and to the cover provided by our Public Liability Insurance. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

    Complaints procedure

If something is not right, contact us at info@arclinegroup.co.uk or 01785 305 042. We acknowledge complaints within 5 working days, investigate and set out how we intend to resolve the matter. If you remain dissatisfied you may raise the matter through Checkatrade.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
